Aspire K4 Quick Start Kit Review & 15% Off Coupon

So I have been using this for a week or so, and it is becoming one of my favorite set ups.

The Cleito is an awesome tank, my personal favorite, and this set up, with the 0.27 coil, is just about perfect!

By the way, they were hard to find, but I found the 0.27 ohm coils at Myfreedomsmokes.

I didn’t think of it at the time, and wasn’t sure if I would even like this set up, but not many stores carry the 0.27 ohm coils specifically; they list the 0.2 and 0.4 coils, but this was made for the 0.27, and I read somewhere that the 0.2 and 0.4 weren’t quite the same on the K4 set up.

If your favorite color is pink, you have probably noticed a dearth of pink in the vaping industry. There is a little bit, but even so-called “pink” box mods are more like magenta.

Red, white, black, and even blue are favored but they don’t provide that feminine sparkle ladies sometimes like.

That was yesterday; today, Aspire introduces their K4, at least when it’s in stock.

Aspire K4 Quick Start Kit

Here is what you do: go to several vendors online or call up some local ones and find out who has it in stock. It might not be in stock anywhere, so get your name on the waiting list if there is one.

This Aspire tube mod is an attractive unit set to do well as a gift for the lady in your life at any romantic occasion. Pair it with a black version and create a set of “his and hers” tube mods.

What’s in the K4 Quick Start Kit

This set from Aspire contains a Cleito tank and a K4 battery. Vapers receive a drip tip as well. Extra parts are also supplied, but here’s a full run-down. Aspire also provides a USB cable.

Both parts are also available separately and the Cleito is a popular sub ohm tank in its own right.

It’s not called a “quick start kit” for nothing though. Aspire’s goal is to get you up and running as quickly as possible, needing nothing but some e liquid and a chance to read the instructions.

Cleito Tank

Aspire Cleito Tanks

Aspire’s Cleito rebuildable sub ohm tank measures 40 inches tall by 22 mm wide: it is a compact item, that’s for sure. This is because the Cleito only holds 3.5 ml of e juice, but there is also the wide bore drip tip which adds a few millimeters to its height.

The Cleito tank is made with a sturdy Pyrex tube and contains a Clapton coil in the chimney style. That coil’s resistance is 0.27 ohms suitable for between 40 watts and 55 watts.

You can use it at lower or higher wattage output but this is what vapers refer to as their “sweet spot” where vapor production is excellent and the flavor of excellent e juice matches it as long as you keep the tank clean.

It comes apart into several pieces for just that purpose. A black Aspire cuff is also provided for grip. Replace the Delrin-insulated drip tip if you like, perhaps in favor of a pink item with 510 threading.

Matching K4 Battery

The battery is also 22 mm wide but 84 mm long for a total length of 122 mm. Battery power is built in to a rating of 2000mAh rechargeable via USB. Externally, the battery is comfortable to grip and boasts an attractive pattern as a natural result of carbon fiber coating. Threading is 510-compatible with airflow inlets. Your battery is controlled by a single button.

More K’s from Aspire

If you like the K4 and want to know if there are more “K’s” going around, you are in luck. Aspire makes a K2 and a K3 kit, each one resembling the largest sibling but without a Cleito Tank. The K2 tank and battery measure 15 mm in diameter. The tank holds up to 1.8 ml of liquid and battery capacity is 800mAh.

A K3 tank holds as much as 2 ml, the battery is rated for 1200mAh, and the system is 18 mm wide. Each one is covered in carbon fiber and all three are controlled via one Cyclops-style button near the top of the battery: simplicity itself.

Try opening the air flow, so the incoming “vape’ is tempered a bit by the outside air

I’ve just purchased the K4, and whilst I think its good, the instant hit at the back of my throat is questioning my decision. Is the Cleito compatible with other Aspire mod boxes like the Pegasus? I think I prefer temperature control – thanks

Yes you can use the Cleito on other mods, and it has other coils available. The 0.4 is less harsh, and still a good one. I love the Cleito with the 0.4.

I have just brought 1 on the advice from the shop that it was variable wattage. It is not or does not seem to be. I was on holiday and needed a quick replacement. It is far too powerful, non discreet sound and sounds like its gonna erupt at any time. I brake out in a coughing fit after using it on its factory setting that I cant seem to adjust. Ivebeen vaping 3 years and make my own juice so not new to all this. I normally use a vamo ( which was laughed at ) or innokin itaste. At least with these- however basic, you can change your power. In my opinion – A horrible mod

I have the same mods that you had, I’m sure you realized that the K4 wasn’t the problem, you just weren’t used to a sub ohm coil. Apples and oranges. 😉

great vape, but if i wanted to, could i install the cleito 120 tank/coil onto the K4’s battery safely? and would it create bigger smokes or bigger hits?

Not sure if you could use that because the Cleito coil uses a 0.16 ohm coil, and that is significantly less resistance than the 0.27 ohm coil matched with the K4 battery.

But the Cleito 120 should create more vapor with the 0.16 ohm coil with the right set up. Looks like a sweet tank, I want one 🙂

Been using the k4 for a week and I have to say it’s great! Good kick back and as much cloud chasing as you desire. Only draw back for me is the battery which doesn’t even last 7hrs and I’m not a heavy vaper.

Hi I have been using the k4. For about three months with the 0.4. Seem to be using a lot of juice 10ml a day and the battery seems to run out quite quickly. I do vape quite a lot when not at work. Any ideas why.a friend has a the same tank but on a different mod and his juice seems to last for ages. Any advise appreciated.

10ml a day is a good amount, but possible with a tank like this, they do drink through juice pretty fast. It could be that he has it at a lower setting, but the Cleito does go through juice faster than a standard mouth to lung tank.

I probably go through at least 5ml a day with the TFV8 which is pretty similar in how it goes through juice.

Just wanted to share a tip for a perfect fit homemade tank reservoir if you can’t afford the price of a new glass one, which I seem to brake ALL the time. Most places sell glass or steel but no affordable plastic version. Just take a shotgun shell and cut it to the right length and boom, tight, and leak proof…. And cheap. Sorry if you don’t own a shotgun then sorry…. Maybe phone a buddy. Hahah. But yeah, it’ll work perfectly till you can buy a new one or if you like it enough keep that as your full-time tank. It doesn’t hold as much as the stock version or an upgraded size, but it’ll work in a pinch. Enjoy. Also if the owners steal this idea. Shame on you. Atleast offer me a job and a few bucks for my creativity haah(yeah right I wish eh)

I bought the K4 and I’m having an issue with the liquid leaking out of the airflow holes. I’ve taken it apart after emptying the tank, cleaned the tank and wiped the bottom rubber seal and am still having issues with it leaking. Have I got a defective device?

I had the same problem with my ejuice leaking out of the air holes. Iwrapped a paper towel around the the air holes, wrapped my hand around it, without firing the coils, blew in the drip tip. No more leaking. For whatever reason the first time you put the juice in , the coils get over saturated.
